Brioche french toast w. blueberries & banana. & maple syrup. & yoghurt.

I know cereal/porridge will give you a good start to the day, packed with vitamins, minerals, fibre, blah blah. But it doesn’t put a smile on your face does it? And nobody wants to walk around without a smile on their face… You should try having Brioche French toast for breakfast!

And forget about fancy, this is going into my dessert menu! With ice cream!

French toast

3 eggs
3/4 milk
1/2 t vanilla essence
2 t sugar
5 thick slices of a brioche loaf/or any toast

  1. Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar. Transfer to shallow dish the better for dipping the brioche.
  2. … Dip the brioche into the mixture on both sides until soaked.
  3. Put a bit of butter into the pan on med heat until it bubbles/froths. Pan fry brioche 1 min on ea side until golden brown.
  4. Serve with maple syrup and fruits.

And here are the sounds to go with it…

  1. My goodness. Your blog made my mouth water (literally) and I can’t wait to try this for myself. Thanks for posting.

  2. I think it’s the brioche that makes it extra tasty!
