Shellfish pasta pot

I’ve seen chilli and tomato additions made to this dish… Oh usualli spaghetti is used, but, I ahh… had no spaghetti at home and well, I think shells are cute! Improvise as you please! Otherwise this is how I cooked the above:


  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until slightly underdone.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat oil in saucepan and cook shallots and garlic until coloured.
  3. Add shellfish to the pan and pour 1/2 cup  dry white wine. Cover the pan and cook until you hear the ‘pop’s.
  4. Return pasta to the saucepan and cook to reduce the sauce/absorbed into the pasta.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley (you might like to finely chop it, I was lazy). Drizzle with olive oil.
