Oaty Chocolate Cookie

Indeed oat is good for you, so is dark chocolate… I ate 3, or was it 4? of these before putting them safely away in the cookie jar.

The cookies are golden brown in real life, I just don’t know how to work the camera. It’s always too much light, too little light… anyways I’m sure your cookies will turn out great!

150 g butter
1/2 c castor sugar
2 T condensed milk
1 cup plain flour
1 cup rolled oat
130 g chocolate chip*

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Cream together butter, sugar and condensed milk until pale yellow.
  3. Mix in flour, rolled oat and chocolate until even consistency.
  4. Roll into balls and flatten slightly with fork on to baking tray.
  5. Bake for 15-20 mins until golden brown.

*I use dark chocolate but you may use a mixture of dark/milk/white depending on how sweet you like your cookies.
